Bobidi Safari Lodge is situated around 5km into the Reserve and is surrounded by bushveld, while many species of game frequent the waterhole in fromnt of the lodge. The old colonial style farm buildings and uniquely decorated rooms lend to a warm feeling of comfort, luxury and a home away from home. The eleven rooms are lined with original paintings, masks and artifacts and have all the facilities one’s heart desires, along with en-suite bathrooms. The lodge is nestled amongst indigenous thorn trees, towering palms and Marula trees, the perfectly manicured lawns, crisp pool and weaving pathways light up to a night of magic and the resident call of the Pearl Spotted Owl.

Camp Mabula is situated about 3km in the Reserve and is a small island paradise in the middle of the Bushveld. The circular flowing lawns hold all the eight small wooden units, nestled amongst massive indigenous trees and smaller thorn bushes. Each cabin caters for two people with its own private braai place. With a large communal thatched kitchen, bar and dining area that is well equipped with fridges, freezers, stove, microwave and plenty of room. The communal ablutions offer separate toilet, shower and bath facilities. The swimming pool is surrounded by tall palms and flanked by a large open fireplace.

The self-catering accommodation of eight cabins, two caravan and two camping sites with electric points make Camp Mabula a rare peaceful treat to any visitor to the area. Bedding; crockery & cutlery are supplied with electricity and refrigeration available. Camp Mabula is offered as an overnight or a day function venue.

On the more adventurous side, you can join in on the day to day running of the Game Reserve by joining the game scouts on a bush patrol, anti poaching patrol or simply tracking White Rhino. There are a host of activities offered on the Reserve to suit your personal tastes.

Our waterhole alongside the lodge provides for game viewing in the early mornings and late afternoons. Various game viewing activities, adventurous activities and cultural walks will add to your experience.

Optional activities are guided walks; clay pigeon shooting; bow and arrow lessons and boma dinners with two Bushman families or other activities including stargazing; full body massages and game viewing day or night at the waterhole. Our rock pool heated in winter and cool in summer provides the ideal spot for a romantic picnic for two.
